When you scroll way down the RNC oppo research on John Edwards you get the really damning stuff:

EDWARDS: "I believe there is a fundamental right to privacy. I do not believe the government belongs in people's bedrooms. God forbid. It seems to me, though, that the GOP's been pretty slow on the ball in terms of actually locking up fags instead of just talking a big game about how it's constitutional for them to do it if they feel like.
