Tomorrow morning, bright and early at 7:30, I'm going to be on C-SPAN's Washington Journal with Jim Geraghty from National Review. It appears that Geraghty has been designated as the go-to presidential campaign hack for the magazine with a blog just dedicated to pimping stories -- no matter how obviously trivial and pointless they may be -- that make the Democratic candidates (but especially Clinton) look bad.

For Tivoing purposes, how long is the segment? 30 min?
-----
I'll say in perpetuity that you are correct about all the details of foreign policy if you can go the entire segment without blinking once on camera.
-----
And finally, let the viewing world in on your handicapping of the Dem primary race.
I actually find every fourth or fifth HillarySpot post fairly interesting. I ignore the posts that are trying to gin up silly scandals, but I like seeing how someone from the other side is handicapping our race, and how he perceives the candidates.
I realize the competition is stiff, but Geraghty is one of most extraordinarily stupid people National Review has ever employed.
It's 7:45 to 8:30 (eastern time, of course). I feel like the odds of me going 45 minutes without blinking are pretty poor. Unfortunately, when you're on TV (a) the lights are extremely bright and (b) you can't tell when the camera's on you since the camera that's on you is always on you -- what it looks like in the end is up to the producers.
Please, don't be polite. Most importantly, if the word "lie" is appropriate, please use that word.
Ask him why, if (as his book title has it) conservatives are "Voting to Kill," the Dems are supposed to be "The Party of Death"? That's always stumped me.

That magazine is fucking pathetic. "Planet Gore"? "The Tank"? Now this bullshit?
Anyone who works for that magazine is pathetic.
And you'll be telling Geraghty this, live on air? Or would that be 'uncivil'?
More 'instructing people in their stupidity on live television', please.
Go get 'em Matt. I will be listening on DC's awesome C-span radio--so I won't be able to tell whether you are blinking or not.
It's no use exhorting your chubby hero to make similar vulgar insults in person. That would take something approaching courage. A quality which id speculate to be so lacking as to be exceeded by his honesty.
Nicely done.
Just watched you on the BBC Plarliament feed here in London. Nicely done.
a shame I can't spell this morning ... erm, Parliament.
Enjoyed C-Span this morning.
Question: Why is it acceptable to use the title, the Iraq War, instead of a more honest,
name, The Bush Iraq War?
Why are reporters afraid of telling the truth when they speak about Bush's bloody mess?
Isn't it time to change the White House public relations game and put the name and blame
right out front?
You looked good! I enjoyed your comments.
Youre a sharp cat.
Is this online anywhere? I was going to watch this but I slept through it.
I [wrongly] anticipated "Matt vs. Jim," it being Sunday political TV and all. So "Matt and Jim" was, by itself, something of a pleasant surprise.
Anyway, you did well. Nice job getting to your points quickly.
And whatever it is you do to hide the hate in your eyes, keep it up!
:-)
It's not up yet, but C-Span posts all of the video from the show on their website. . .
There you go:

MY starts at about 47:00
i have been watching c-span for 25 years and boy was i proud of you. the republican who called in and said he could tell by your eyes that you were truthful and a good person is a first. me and 2 women sat in front of a wal-mart store in morrow,ga on a saturaday and sunday in march of 1992 and collected 567 good signatures for the ross perot petition drive. thank god he pulled out but i saw how starved america was for another choice. i sure would like to get started with a petition for ron paul. barber shops and beauty parlors would be my choice. i voted for kennedy, goldwater, nixon, carter, barbara bush and slick willie. what do you think.
Thanks for posting the video Justin Nisly!! I just learned how to do that (post video ....)

Very interesting project. I have a weird problem though. Prism created shortcuts on my desktop for GMail and Calendar and they work great. When I try to do the same with Google Maps the webapp link gets created, but double-clicking on it just opens Prism configuration dialog box. Any ideas why?
